German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall in July had its first successful launch of its new loitering kamikaze drone, the FV-014.
The company said in a message that the system was launched from a Rheinmetall HX truck mounted with a containerised missile launcher at Germany's National Test Centre for Unmanned Aerial Systems at the German Aerospace Centre in Cochstedt, Saxony-Anhalt.
